Hello everybody! Megan's pregnancy is going very well. Baby Baird is a bit on the big size he was 4lbs 3oz about four weeks ago and if he is gaining a half a a pound a week he is supposed to be, he's a little over six pounds now. The doctors are not too concerned about his size he is just a big baby right now but his growth could slow or change over the next few weeks and he could turn out to be an average sized baby. Dr. Maturo said his weight was not an issue but his physical size is what they're keeping a close eye on. While he is in the 80th percentile weight wise the circumference of his head and belly are extremely large and Dr. Maturo assured us this was no reason to be alarmed aside from the higher possibility of a c-section.
Megan has began her 'nesting' mode which is currently in overdrive... She will not stop trying to clean, wipe, sanitize and vacuum any and every surface inside our apartment. If you know Megan well, this is not out of the ordinary - but now her cleaning and upkeep routine is in complete overdrive! So everything is on track and all of Meg's weekly tests and doctors visits are going great. Six weeks from today is when her induction date is schedule - as long as our little man isn't too anxious to make an early exit. Megan has another sonogram next week and we will be sure to post pictures and notify everyone of baby Baird's status!
Looking good!
