Heat Wave

I've lost track of how many days it's been over 100 degrees here in Kansas City, but while it's been too hot to go play outside, Jackson has learned something new to keep his mom and dad occupied. On Your Mark...Get Set....GO!

We've had quite the busy last few days. We are proud to announce that one front tooth has begun to break through!! That's right folks! It's not much, but it's a start and it's been a long time coming! On top of that exciting news, there's more...Jackson has been trying to walk! We've been trying to take a step or two for the last few days. He is pretty successful at getting about two steps before falling (safely). Before we know it, this kid is going to be off and running...

This past weekend we've also begun to experiment with some new foods. As you can see below, we've started eating Cheerios and some real fruit. I finally invested in a mesh eater, you can see what it is here. It's helped Jackson munch on some of the larger solid foods that he is unable to chew properly without his top two pearly whites. 

It's become almost impossible to get a clear shot of this little one running around. It usually requires about anywhere from 10-20 shots (if that) to get a non blurry picture. These were the clearest I've been able to get lately, enjoy!

Our 1st Fourth of July

We had quite the busy weekend here at the Baird household! We did lots of fun activities that not only wore Jackson out but mom and dad as well! I think Adam and I are still recuperating from this weekend...

On top of doing lots of swimming, yesterday we went to our Aunt Jen's house and hung out with our favorite friend Zyon! We had a small BBQ and even got to play the piano together!

 Then we went home and played with our toys....

Fun Filled Family Week

We had a very exciting weekend, Uncle Jordan was in town from California. He hasn't seen Jackson since we left the hospital so needless to say he was quite shocked when he saw him. He brought his guitar with him and we got a private show! Jackson was his number one fan and absolutely loved the music! It was also a very special weekend, all three brothers were baptized on Friday. It was a beautiful ceremony and something that their mom has wanted for a long time.  It has been an exciting family filled week for us and as great as it is to see everyone, it is sad to see them go! We captured many great moments of Jackson (as usual) and here are just a few--
