I received a "stylish blogger" award. It's an award that bloggers pass around to each other to show off some pretty cool blogs.

I got my award from my friend Caitlin, thank you Caitlin! You can read about her beautiful family here. I've been meaning to update the blog for what seems to be the last eternity but my computer was out of commission for two weeks until it magically turned on and started working last night (yay!). So here we go...

7 things about myself...wow, OK here I got

1) The day Jackson was born was the happiest day of my life. I stop and think sometimes what my life would be like, and I honestly cannot imagine life without him. I love him more than words will ever begin to express.

2) I LOVE to read but unfortunately ever since becoming a full time working mommy, I have neglected my reading :( It is the one thing I miss about being pregnant because I would love to come home from work and read every night. I've attempted to start reading little by little each night before bed, but it is very challenging...

3) I'm hoping to open my own business in the next few years flipping houses, it's a secret passion of mine.

4) Adam and I met at Stone Creek restaurant while living in Lawrence. I had the biggest crush on him for months before he asked me out :)

5) I am probably the biggest animal lover you will ever meet. If it were up to me, I would live on a farm where I could have as many animals as I wanted to. I am not allowed in any kind of animal shelter or else I would adopt every animal that is in there (and I cry every time). I have two cats (Dexter and Bo) and no I am not the crazy cat lady (you know who you are who think it)

6) I grew up in Missouri but I am 100% a KU fan! I looooooove my Jayhakws! ROCK CHALK!`

7) I have the greatest friends and family in the world! Thank you all for following our blog! Hope you enjoy!

A Beautiful Day With Baby J

Before our lovely snow storm hit :( we had a short glimpse of Spring! The three of us had a chance to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful weather. Jackson is getting big enough that we can sit him in the stroller without him sitting in his car seat, such a big boy! We can already tell that he loves strolling around, he's very alert when we go on walks and likes to see what's going on. We're looking forward to nicer weather so we can take more family walks!

Here's What You've Missed

Things have been crazy the last few weeks in the Baird house, hence my lack of blogging....I just wanted to update everyone with some recent pictures of Jackson. My parents were in town visiting this weekend and brought little man's highchair. We've been doing really well with eating our solid food lately! We really seem to enjoy sweet potatoes and our spoon :) More to come in the next few days! Enjoy!

We've started eating with a spoon twice a day. Not really a fan of it still but we're beginning to get used to it. We're almost done with all the cereal's which means we'll be moving on to vegetables soon!
